I don't know about you all out there, but I get a bit nervous that idiots like this are continuing to be able to get nuclear secrets out of a facility. Am I wrong in assuming that our nuclear secrets should remain secret? Am I the bad guy for wanting all computers in the facility to be locked down and no physical access to the internet?
With Los Alamos having security problems left and right, it makes me very nervous that guys like this can simply grab whatever and almost get away with it. Who's to say that smarter people aren't getting away with it now?
What really needs to happen is life sentences or death penalties for cases like this. It would certainly make many people think twice before they started meddling with secrets about nuclear technology.

Be more afraid that the only people the FBI catches doing this are clumsy, inept bumblers that the Fibbies devise a sting to catch AFTER they are alerted to the activity..sad commentary on our "best and brightest..." who are protecting us..and by the way, throw the book at the jerk for trying to sell the material and knowledge...
Exactly. What happens when Russian and Chinese spies want access to our stuff? It's very disheartening. Personally, if I were running Los Alamos and other nuclear secret facilities, there would be NO laptops, thumb drives, internet access, or any other way of getting information out of the facility. USB ports would be physically destroyed, the computer networks would be completely off grid, and anyone found to be bringing in our out classified information would get an automatic life sentence or death if the circumstances warranted it.
