Keith Olbermann Is An Easy Target

God how I love this man. He makes my job so much easier! So we all have heard about the Pentagon Undersecretary Eric Edelman letter slamming Hillary Clinton about her comments and how they are feeding enemy propaganda. To tell you the truth, I agree with Mr. Edelman. While it's perfectly fine to ask questions about our departure from Iraq, doing so in such an inflammatory and public way only feeds enemy propaganda. Had Hillary done so quietly and face to face, we probably wouldn't have the firestorm we have today.

Regardless, Keith Olbermann is doing the EXACT thing I've been warning you all about for years: Blaming absolutely EVERYTHING that happens on President Bush. Here's a letter from the Undersecretary of Defense and yet, somehow it's President Bush's fault. Keith barely mentions this fact in his article.

And the accusation of spreading “enemy propaganda that the United States will abandon its allies in Iraq, much as we are perceived to have done in Vietnam, Lebanon and Somalia” might be some day atoned for, if we all didn’t know — you included, and your generals and the Iraqis — that we are leaving Iraq, and sooner rather than later, and we are doing it even if to do so requires, first, that you must be impeached and removed as president of the United States, sooner rather than later.

Put yourself in the Iraqi leader's shoes. If you're struggling to overcome tons of problems such as corruption, rebuilding basic services, and such, and then the US is threatening to leave, wouldn't you think you were being abandoned?

You have set this government at war against its own people and then blamed those very people when they say, “Enough.”

And thus it crystallizes, Mr. Bush.

....This, sir, is your war.

Umm..No it isn't. It's OUR war.

Sen. Clinton has reinforced enemy propaganda?

Yes, she has. Al-Qaeda's #2 has mentioned in one of his videos that Americans are only concerned about looking for a way out and he's using that against us.

Made it impossible for you to get your ego-driven, blood-steeped win in Iraq?

Then take it into your own hands, Mr. Bush.

Go to Baghdad now and fulfill, finally, your military service obligations.

Go there and fight, your war. Yourself.

Well if that's the case Keith, when can we all expect to see you pick up a weapon and a uniform and head to Afghanistan? You are still for getting Osama Bin Laden and his guys right? The ones who REALLY DID ATTACK US on 9/11. If you want to call out Bush for his lack of picking up a weapon for Iraq, then it's only fair to call YOU out for not doing the same in Afghanistan.

So when's that going to happen Keith? Shall I call my recruiter friend to let him know you're coming in? I'm sure he'd love to chat with you.
