Am I an asshole for not caring about Pakistani borders when it comes to the hunt for Osama and his right hand man? Am I an asshole for wanting to tell the Pakistani President "if you can't or won't find them in your "lawless" areas, we will" and actually follow through with it? I can understand finding one guy in a very rugged terrain can be difficult. Hell, it took years to find the guy who shot up the entrance to the CIA's main headquarters years ago.
But the safety and security of the American nation is more important than anything, I don't care that Pakistan has been a bit wishy washy at times. I don't care that they can't control certain parts of their country. If they can't control it, it's not technically "theirs" right? Then we should be able to go in whenever, however we'd like and they don't have a real beef with it right?
All I'm saying is that territorial pissing matches will seem insignificant if there's a terrorist attack against America originating from that area. The public will scream about "why didn't we do something" and they will be right.
