Well according to this poll, support for Osama Bin Laden and suicide attacks have dropped drastically in the last few years.
While not the percentages I would like to see, a drop in support is a drop in support. Now let's get that number down to 0% so we can start having more and more people turn in militants and get one more step towards nabbing Osama.
The most curious statistic in this poll was Pakistan. 9 percent of Pakistanis believe suicide bombings can be justified often or sometimes, down from 33 percent in 2002 and a high of 41 percent in 2004. Other countries where support for bin Laden declined are Lebanon, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan and Kuwait.
Now, if Bin Laden and his idiots are indeed hiding out in Pakistan, that means that sooner or later, we'll capture him when someone gives just the right piece of intelligence. Support will dwindle, it's just a matter of time before we get them all. Let's not forget that it took 4 years to get Mir Aimal Kansi, so I imagine that it'll take a lot longer to find Bin Laden.
