Drunk astronauts flying the space shuttle? Wow. If it were me, I'd fire whoever was drinking and whoever green lit the launch. You're talking about endangering the lives of the crew and possibly people on the ground in the event of an emergency. You're talking about a multi-multi billion dollar space craft that you're handing the controls over to a drunk.
I certainly hope it's not true, but if it is, those responsible have some HEAVY explaining to do.
