Al-Qaeda Entrenched In Pakistan

Now tell me this: Would you rather have Pakistani President Musharraf pissed at you for going after Al-Qaeda in Pakistan, or would you rather have Bin Laden's head on a pike?

Remember kids, it's far easier to beg for forgiveness then it is to ask for permission. Perhaps a deal can be struck with the Pakistani leader: We'll help keep the Indians off your back, sell you some minor military equipment (old stuff that's just lying around really) and you give us blanket access to Pakistan. I'm not saying a full blown invasion, but covert CIA/Special forces kind of access. You turn a blind eye, we'll help you out with your militant problem.

Already Al-Qaeda's #2 guy is calling for revenge for the Mosque hostage situation that left all the militants dead.

A deal like that would be win-win for everyone involved. Because let's face it, if we have solid intel that Bin Laden or Al-Zawahri are at a particular location in Pakistan, we're going in after them anyways, regardless of permission. Besides, when asked on American TV where Bin Laden was, his reply was "show us where he is and we'll go get him".

You'd think he'd be a bit more forthcoming with permission to us given the fact that Al-Qaeda's tried to kill him more than once.
