This is the kind of guy that Cindy Sheehan and Hollywood celebrities like to get their little panties all up in a bunch over: Hugo Chavez.
But now, he's pulling the exact same thing that they claim Bush is, that they demonized him for: Calling people who don't agree with them "Traitors".
President Hugo Chavez threatened on Sunday to take over farms or milk plants if owners refuse to sell their milk for domestic consumption and instead seek higher profits abroad or from cheese-makers.
With the country recently facing milk shortages, Chavez said "it's treason" if farmers deny milk to Venezuelans while selling it across the border in Colombia or for gourmet cheeses.
"I'm putting you on alert," Chavez said. "If there's a producer that refuses to sell the product ... and sells it at a higher price abroad ... ministers, find me the proof so it can be expropriated."
Addressing his Cabinet, he said: "If the army must be brought in, you bring in the army."
Still want to back him anyone? He's threatening farmers with military intervention if they dare seek to profit from their hard work. Yeah, didn't think so. Cindy and celebrities, do us a favor: Sit down and actually research a subject before you open your mouths. Then you can at least LOOK like you know what you're talking about and you can go on pretending like people give a shit what you think.
