John Kerry Endorses Barack Obama For President Speech

Take a watch at Kerry's speech.  At 2:30 you can hear the bitterness in Kerry's voice, complaining of "swift boating".  However, is Kerry really an endorsement you want?  Many Democrats didn't like Kerry, but only voted for him simply because he wasn't George W. Bush.

However, Barack Obama certainly has a lot of charm and speaks well.  However, his voting record leaves a lot to be desired.

Take a look here.

He's also been known to be absent when key votes were needed in Congress.  A little bit absent if you will.  Do I think he will be President?  If he manages to get the Democratic nomination over Hillary, I certainly don't see a problem for him getting enough votes to win.

However, with my being a Second Amendment supporter, I cannot support a candidate, Democrat or Republican, that asks for the banning of sale or transfer of semi-automatic weapons.  That means that regular guns that fire off one round for every time you pull the trigger, would be banned if he had his way.  It means that if you need to fire your weapon, you have one shot, then you need to reload.  There are literally hundreds of thousands of examples of people who needed to shoot more then once to take a bad guy down, and Obama wants to take that ability out of the hands of law abiding citizens.

He supports giving illegal immigrants drivers licenses, a privilege, not a right.

Q: In the absence of comprehensive immigration reform, do you support driver's licenses for illegal immigrants?

A: Yes. I am going to be fighting for comprehensive immigration reform, and we shouldn't pose the question that, somehow, we can't achieve that. The American people desperately want it; that's what I'm going to be fighting for as president.

If you cannot respect the laws of our nation and the guaranteed rights provided by the Constitution, which Obama has said he wants to "restore", then you're nothing more then a hypocrite and a liar.
