I'm Done With Oil

Saudi Arabia will raise oil production only when the market justifies it, the kingdom's oil minister said Tuesday, in response to President Bush's request that OPEC nations increase output to reduce world oil prices.

"Our interest is to keep oil supplies matching demand with minimum volatility in the oil market," Oil Minister Ali Naimi told reporters. "We will raise production when the market justifies it. This is our policy."

In other words, they are making a tidy profit and don't give two shits about our financial health as long as their's is ok.  We've been held hostage by these people who take our money and then give it to schools who preach hatred against Jews and Americans for too long.  That, coupled with the transportation commission calling for a 40 cent per gallon increase over 5 years, I think I'm done with gasoline.

I'm sick and tired of paying whatever price oil companies and OPEC decides they want to gouge me with.  Remember when gas was around $1.60 less than 5 years ago?  There is simply no reason for oil prices to be as high as they are.  Qatar's oil minister once said that oil should be around $100 a barrel when it was at $87, then had the gall to say less than 3 weeks later when it hit $93 for everyone not to blame him and OPEC.

With more and more car companies saying they will be coming out with plug in hybrids that will allow you to drive around without paying for gas at all depending on your driving habits, I look forward to the day I can pick one up and tell OPEC to kiss my American ass.

Saudi Arabia and other OPEC nations know that the tide is changing and they are trying to squeeze every dollar out of us while they still can. They are then turning around and investing that money in our own industries to help offset the coming collapse of the price of their once hot commodity.

Better invest in farms and water plants fellas, it's awfully hot in the desert.
