Aren't Democrats the ones who were all pissy about the issue of race during the election?
If so, why aren't they denouncing their own Howard Dean?
I mean, if you want to bring up race issues, then you can't exclude one race over another. If a Republican said this about the Democrats, it'd be all over the front page of CNN.
So, where's the denouncing of this idiot?
But that's not the point either.
Tell me Mr. Dean, what was the political affiliation of Abraham Lincoln? You know, the whole "freed the slaves" guy? The greatest American President? Oh yeah, Republican.
Who championed civil rights in the 60's? Republicans. Sure, we had people on BOTH sides of the aisle opposed to civil rights, but let's be clear: Who opposes affirmative action? Republicans. Why? Because we believe that a person should get a job based upon their skills rather than their skin color.
We believe that the only person responsible for your life situation is you. We are the party of the color blind, regardless of how much historical revisionism you'd like to do.
So, Howard Dean, you can kindly go fuck yourself and your racist ideals.
