We're Out Of Iraq By 2011

BAGHDAD - The Bush administration announced Wednesday it has approved a draft agreement with Iraq on a U.S. military presence there.

Iraqi and U.S. negotiators earlier finished work on the draft security agreement that would see all American troops leave Iraqi cities by June 30 and the rest of the country by the end of 2011, Iraqi officials said Wednesday.

While the Bush administration approved the deal, it still needs approval the Iraqi government  — and some members of Iraq's Cabinet oppose some of its provisions.

In Washington, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said talks with the Iraqis were still ongoing and "we are trying to bring the agreement to a close. It is not done yet."

The Iraqi official, who was involved in the protracted negotiations, said the latest draft was completed last week and sent to the two governments. It also calls for U.S. troops to fully leave the country by the end of 2011.

We've been saying this for a long time now.  Once Iraq gets on it's feet, we're leaving.  Iraq has been doing VERY well in terms of getting it's security forces in place, infrastructure rebuilt, and a host of other things.

Even Barack Obama, who's really bitter about admitting that the surge worked is finally admitting it did.

"Let's be clear, our troops have completed every mission they've been given," Mr. Obama said at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Orlando, Fla., where the likely Democratic presidential nominee courted military voters who are expected to play a pivotal role in several swing states. "They have created the space for political reconciliation."

Not exactly a resounding "I was wrong about that", but it'll have to do.  So, if Iraqi lawmakers approve the deal, we're leaving by the end of 2011.

It is clear that Mccain is the Manchurian candidate being operated by the North Vietnamese. Why did he avoid release from captivity? Because of the treatment they were giving him during captivty after he snapped. He liked it... the North Vietnamese own him. Beware, he is the Manchurian candidate!
