North Korea Sells Nuclear Material To Syria

Israeli commandos seized nuclear material of North Korean origin during a daring raid on a secret military site in Syria before Israel bombed it this month, according to informed sources in Washington and Jerusalem.

The attack was launched with American approval on September 6 after Washington was shown evidence the material was nuclear related, the well-placed sources say.

They confirmed that samples taken from Syria for testing had been identified as North Korean. This raised fears that Syria might have joined North Korea and Iran in seeking to acquire nuclear weapons.

That would explain why Syria has been uber quiet about this whole episode. They don't want to be seen as trying to acquire nuclear weapons materials. That would also explain why North Korea is also being quiet about this whole episode.

It's becoming more and more clear that North Korea is trying to weasel it's way back into prosperity by selling nuclear material to nations that will pay through the nose to get it.

That being said, Syria needs to be punished for this blatant attempt at nuclear proliferation, and North Korea needs to be severely punished for it's complete disregard for sensitive nuclear materials falling into the hands of terrorists.

Personally, I think a nice bombing run would do nicely against North Korea once their nuclear program has been completely shut down. Let them find out what it means to be an underhanded, weaselly government and the consequences of that action.

And you all wonder of the validity of Iran's nuclear weapons program? They also had a nice, cozy relationship with North Korea as well.
