Senior policy adviser Laurie Rubiner–while acknowledging that undocumented immigrants are a "huge issue" in this country–said, "That's one we're going to have to think through a little bit."
"We have not dealt with every single detail with this plan," Rubiner continued.
Oh and I just found out, that $110 BILLION dollars that it's going to cost for Hillary's plan? That's PER YEAR. She wants to take $110 billion dollars a year and insure people without insurance, tax people who already pay more than 50% of America's taxes, and she's "unsure" about insuring illegal aliens?
What the hell kind of policy is that? These people are here ILLEGALLY. They are draining this country of it's resources and not returning the favor. They are having children here so they can stay in the country. It's high time we erect that border fence (on BOTH sides of the border) and told people "if you want to come to America, you have to do so legally".Do you have any idea what we can do with $110 billion dollars a year? Let's take a look at government expenditures:
In fiscal year 2005, the US budget was $2.5 trillion dollars. That $110 billion dollars represents 4.4% of that budget. We spend less then that on education. We already spend 22.4% on healthcare as it is. That's $560 billion dollars a year. (Combined "Health" and "Medicare")
If we're going to tighten the belts a bit, let's at LEAST fix government waste, especially when it comes to Medicare/Medicaid and put that $110 billion a year towards the federal debt. If Hillary really cares about this country (which you know damned good and well she doesn't), she'd want to leave future generations without the crushing debt that we currently have.
But she doesn't care about America's fiscal health. She TALKS about the federal debt, but then she wants to add an additional $110 billion a year to the budget. That's an additional $366 for every man, woman and child in America. And you know damned good and well that that's not going to get spread around evenly. Middle and upper class people are going to have to pay for the share of the poor who can't or won't afford it. To tell you the truth, healthcare for $30 bucks a month should be affordable to ANYONE with a job, so I don't see why those who make more should have to pay more. Even people working full time at Taco Bell can afford $30 bucks a month for healthcare.
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of being taxed like this from the Democrats. Tell you what Hillary, if you can cut $110 billion worth of fat out of the federal budget per year, I'll gladly endorse your universal healthcare plan. Until then, count me out.
