Musharraf has a major problem on his hands. We kept warning him about the dangers of Al-Qaeda. He wouldn't listen. They attempted to assassinate him, he still would drag his feet.
Now they've openly declared war on him.
Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden called on Pakistanis to rebel against President Pervez Musharraf in a new recording released on Thursday, saying his military's siege of a militant mosque stronghold makes him an infidel.
You'd better wake up soon Musharraf, you have people in your country that are trying to incite your population to overthrow and kill you. If that happens and Pakistan becomes a lawless or openly hostile nation, the US will have no choice but to attack Pakistan. We simply cannot have radical militants having access to nuclear weapons.
Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad, a Pakistani army spokesman, said the army will continue its fight against terrorism, regardless of any threats it faces.
"We have the aim and objective, as our national duty, to eliminate terrorists and eradicate extremism. The Pakistan army will continue to carry out its role against terrorists wherever they are found, whether in the tribal areas (of northwest Pakistan) or elsewhere."
Well that's all fine and dandy, but you guys have to admit you're dragging your feet when it comes to the tribal areas. Only a full scale invasion of those areas will root out extremists or push them into waiting American hands in Afghanistan.

is our good allies in fighting terrorism. I think United Sstates should do all possible to keep him in power.!!!!
Well he's certainly better than the alternatives. However, I do think that he can do more to help put extremists out of business.
