The Worlds Largest "Pot Meet Kettle"

Google has agreed to purchase the online ad company DoubleClick for a couple billion dollars. I personally despise DoubleClick for their shenanigans in the past that they pulled, but I can see why Google would want to purchase a company like this. However, there are people crying "monopoly". That wouldn't be so bad, but guess who's crying "monopoly"?

AT&T and Microsoft.

"Did you say Microsoft and AT&T?" Google CEO Schmidt said, in response to a question Tuesday.

Noting that Microsoft and AT&T have had their share of antitrust skirmishes, he retorted, "Give me a break."

At least he sees the irony in all this. :)
