Well no kidding! With rising mortgage rates and people stretching themselves too thin as it is, it's no wonder that people aren't buying new homes. However, those of you out there who save your money, invest wisely, and don't overstretch yourselves, now is a good time to purchase a home if you can afford it. The interest rates are higher then they should be, but you can get a decent bargain if you look around.
