So Soon? I'm Astonished!

I thought the gun control people would start pouring out of the woodwork after a few days, maybe 2 weeks tops, but wow, this idiot came out HOURS afterwards. He doesn't even bother to hide his obvious bias against gun ownership with comments like this: "To me, 18 or 19 lives matter more than anyone's right to own automatic weapons."

What's funnier is that this guy doesn't even have a valid argument. Automatic weapons have been illegal for YEARS.

"Gee, if the students had their guns,'' a gun nut will now argue, "then maybe they could've stopped him."

Umm...yeah, that's right. The same can be said for those who were flying on hijacked aircraft on 9/11. Just because someone is armed doesn't mean they can't defend themselves or the lives of others. Some people don't want guns, that's fine, don't buy one. But don't encroach on my right to own one.
