Violence in Iraq drops sharply: Ministry | Reuters

Wait a minute, I thought things were going very badly in Iraq?  At least that's what liberals would like you to believe.  But unfortunately, that's not the case.

Interior Ministry spokesman Major-General Abdul-Karim Khalaf told reporters that there had been a 70 percent decrease in violence countrywide in the three months from July to September over the previous quarter.

70% decrease since the surge happened?  Why, you'd think that it was actually WORKING or something??  In the Anbar province, violence has dropped 82%.  And this is according to the Iraqi's themselves.

Democrats in Congress don't really have a leg to stand on anymore when it comes to Iraq.  They keep trying to play up the "bad situation" in Iraq, but the numbers simply aren't there for their argument.  They'd LIKE you to believe that things are going badly, but the truth is, the surge of troops and change in tactics are working and the Iraqi's are starting to stand up for themselves.
