Bush hosts Dalai Lama amid Chinese outrage | Reuters

"We are furious," Tibet's Communist Party boss, Zhang Qingli, told reporters in China. "If the Dalai Lama can receive such an award, there must be no justice or good people in the world."

The White House denied Bush's private meeting with the Dalai Lama, his fourth since taking office, was meddling in China's internal affairs. But Perino said: "We understand that the Chinese have very strong feelings about this."

Yes, because China NEVER interferes with our internal affairs.  They NEVER make massive attempts to crack into military computers at the Pentagon.  They NEVER have generals talk about invading us.  They NEVER have openly talked about trying to sink our economy.

Let's get one thing straight here.  If China wants us to treat them with respect and dignity, then maybe they ought to return the favor in kind.  Until then, "screw off" China.
