Obama Advocates War

You know for all his tough talk on how the war in Iraq is going, Barack Obama sure does look like a hypocrite for wanting to invade a sovereign nation.

"Let me make this clear," Obama said. "There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al-Qaida leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf will not act, we will."

So what he's really saying is: We won't act until Musharraf does. He's saying that even with actionable intelligence, he won't send in special forces or any kind of military strike without Musharraf's permission.

Is that the kind of guy you really want for President? Personally, if I have actionable intelligence that Osama is sitting in a cafe in Hong Kong, after I get visual confirmation, that cafe's going to be a smoking crater within minutes. I don't care what country he's in or where he's at. Once I have actionable intelligence, I'm acting, and I don't give two shits about permission from anyone about it.

Besides, you'll notice that Democrats will think this is a good idea because when Democrats advocate war, it's ok, but when Republicans do it, there's calls for impeachment.

You can bet your sweet ass that there won't be liberals talking about how we made a mistake invading a sovereign nation that posed no threat to us.

Do you honestly think Obama has the backbone to order an attack if there's actionable intelligence? Do you think he's going to order covert action if the intelligence says where Bin Laden is over the course of minutes or do you think he'll take the pussy way out and ask for permission from Musharraf or worse, the UN?

Obama is only talking like this to separate himself from Hillary and gain points with those on the right. Sadly, just about everyone is seeing through his line of bullshit.
