And assaulting people who are trying to just do their jobs? First it was Cynthia McKinney, who had the nerve to play the race card and ended up looking like a racist herself. Now, it's Rep. Bob Filner after he shoved an airline bag checker.
But this time it's different. The employee is pressing charges.
Filner, a Democrat from California, allegedly attempted to enter an employees-only area on Sunday night.
Van Cleave spoke with several witnesses who said they heard Filner yell "You can't stop me," before pushing aside the employee and refusing to leave the office.
Oh no? Well while you're in Iraq, you'd better come up with a damned good excuse because the police will be waiting to arrest you when you return.
Hopefully this guy sees some jail time, although it's HIGHLY unlikely. At worst you'll see a public apology, maybe some money changing hands, and some community service.
