For what you may ask? For knighting Salman Rushdie. You may remember him as the guy who wrote the book "The Satanic Verses" which many Islamic folks seem to think is blasphemy. This book lead the Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini to issue a religious order for anyone to kill the guy.
So I guess England better shape up right? They certainly wouldn't want to offend the Iranians who are actively seeking nuclear weapons, who encourage jihad against Western countries, including England and who openly call for the mass extermination of Israel and all Jews.
But God forbid you actually throw some of their hypocracy bullshit back in their face. They might issue another fatwa asking for your death as well.
That being said, I've never read Rushdie's book. I don't care about his particular views about Islam or any other religion. I do care that powerful people who are actively seeking nuclear weapons want to kill people who have the nerve to insult their religion while it's ok for them to do the exact same thing that they are getting all uppity about.
