President Bush has said that he will use his veto power against upcoming spending budgets if they are too much. That's all fine and dandy, but either CNN has a problem or Bush does.
The administration, hoping to appease Republicans who demand fiscal restraint, has pledged to keep overall spending to the level in Bush's proposed budget in February.
If CNN is the one reporting this, it's a blatant attempt at partisan politics and showing their true bias against Bush. If Bush is the one who's doing this to "appease", he's got a major problem on his hands. The Republican party is about smaller government (which it's been guilty of not doing lately), and if Bush is only threatening veto to "appease", then he's lost one of the core values of the Republican party and needs to have his knuckles rapped for it.
