Whoopi Calls On Sharpton To Apologize To Duke Players

 

 

Normally I see The View as a place where a bunch of yenta types get together and bash men, President Bush, and the military.  However, Whoopi Goldberg hit this dead on the head, so I thought I would share it with you.

In it, she calls on Al Sharpton to apologize to the Duke Lacrosse team players who were wrongfully accused of rape.

I doubt she'll get her way as Al hasn't apologized for the Tawana Brawley case that he actually lost a slander case to those falsely accused in that incident.

But Whoopi is right.  If Al's going to ask people such as Isaiah Thomas and Don Imus to apologize for their perceived wrongs, then Al needs to apologize to the Duke players.  Otherwise he'll just reinforce my beliefs that he's merely a professional con artist who's only claim to fame is a small time radio show and a constant "I'm offended" attitude.
