Sudan: We Can Take Your Coke!

You're kidding right? This is a threat?!?!!? Sudan has "retaliated" against US sanctions by threatening to cut off supplies of Arabic Gum.

You mean to tell me that because we put sanctions on them for allowing militias to roam free and kill innocent civilians and their only threat is to cut off an ingredient in Coke? Go ahead, bring your economy to it's knees with your threats of "Arabic Gum-less" America. I could personally care less. I drink Crystal Lite (Fruit Punch if you must know).

"I want you to know that the gum arabic, which runs all the soft drinks all over the world, including the United States, mainly 80 percent is imported from my country," Ukec said.

"I can stop that gum arabic and all of us will have lost this," he said.

Perhaps if we threatened another country with removing Justin Timberlake CD's from their store racks we can get Iran to fold over their nuclear program.

Or we could just threaten to give them with Justin Timberlake CD's if they don't stop their nuclear program. I think that might work better.
