While I don't follow politics too much in Lebanon, I do enjoy the fact that they are fighting Islamic militants and basically told them to go fuck themselves when the militants warned them not to come into the "refugee camp". People are starting to take notice what we've been telling them for years now: Islamic radicals are a danger to everyone and they need to be eradicated.
Hell, even the story of Al-Qaeda having problems with insurgents in Iraq turned out to be true. It's actually even getting worse for Al-Qaeda.
Now, I'm not trying to be a fear monger here, but we've all seen what a little ingenuity with a dash of insanity thrown in can do. It's high time that others out there found out what it's like to have to deal with this threat. It all boils down to this: If you want to be our friend, that's fine. But if you don't, and you want to attack civilians, you need to pay a heavy price for that decision.
