Because he can't sing worth shit. An audience member asks an intelligent question (about what we're going to do about Iran's involvement in the insurgency and all the stuff they've been doing lately) and McCain goes into "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran". The video cuts out before he gives an honest answer, which I would love to hear.
