My bullshit meter has been broken by the ultra high levels of this whopper of a lie. Pakistan is taking out ads to warn people and ask them to report to officials over "lost or stolen" nuclear materials.
Officials on Wednesday were keen to reassure the outside world that the latest incident in no way has the makings of another nuclear scandal, and that no radioactive material had been stolen, lost or gone missing.
Well if that's the case, why are you informing the public? If no material is lost or stolen, there's no need to inform the public at all. This is very disheartening because they already have their nuclear scientist AQ Khan who admitted to selling secrets to rogue nations. Who's to say he didn't sell them material as well?
This is the same as if when you were a kid and you told your mom "Hey mom, you remember my brother right? Well, I'm not saying it's serious, but you may want to take a look at his arm. You know, just in case." When you knew you were both screwing around and he got hurt.
