How About A "Thank You"

One of the abductors of Jill Carroll, the freelance journalist who was splashed all over the news a year ago, has been killed. Muharib Abdul-Latif al-Jubouri was responsible for multiple kidnappings and even murders of innocent civilians.

There were rumors yesterday that the leader was the one who was killed and since it wasn't quite confirmed, I had an uneasy time about reporting it until it was. Now that we know who was killed we can resume the hunt for the notorious leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq. One more down, many more to go I say.

I'd like to hear what Ms. Carroll has to say. She didn't come across as very thankful to her rescuers when she was freed a while ago. Sure, she gave the usual "thanks", but it didn't seem heartfelt. It seemed like she was pissed that her news story was about to end.
