Putin Blames Georgian Invasion On US.

That's right folks! It's ALL George W. Bush's fault! Is there anything that man can't do? I mean, he's responsible for people's inability to evacuate New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. He's responsible for the racial divide in this country. Hell, he's even responsible for the recession.

In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance in the Black Sea city of Sochi Thursday, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia.

Putin told CNN his defense officials had told him it was done to benefit a presidential candidate -- Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are competing to succeed George W. Bush -- although he presented no evidence to back it up

Here's the problem. Georgia didn't start the war. A separatist group in the disputed lands attacked Georgia. Georgia retaliated, and Russia sent in troops.

Unfortunately for Russia, they tried to play it off as if they were simply defending themselves, but they STILL look like douche bags because they slaughtered Georgians by the thousands, destroyed civilian homes, and now they've got a problem with their image around the world that they didn't count on.

They figured they'd blame it on the US, and no one's buying it. Of course, there are "blame American first" idiots out there who will believe anything spewed out by anyone who thinks America is ALWAYS at fault for anything that goes wrong, including a former KGB agent who's been known to kill people who speak out against the Kremlin.
