So Hugo Chavez has removed his country from the World Bank and taken control over their oil fields from private firms. While that may be good in the short term because of high oil prices, you can bet that other businesses are taking a hard look at Venezuela because if Chavez will do this with the oil industry, do you think he wouldn't do the same for other lucrative markets? Businesses would be wise in taking a look at whether or not they want to do business with Venezuela any more. I know if I ran a business there, I'd be looking at other countries to do business in. Watch their economy take a hard hit because of this short sightedness.
