Cindy Sheehan's favorite dictator apparently had to get a little "Saddam-ish" last night and shut down a TV station and disperse a crowd with rubber bullets and tear gas. The crowd was protesting the clampdown of freedom of speech that they were experiencing.
I'm sure that George Bush would do the same things right Cindy? Cindy? Oh that's right, she won't be making any additional comments because she's "retiring" from the public eye because the money's dried up and the free lunch has ended.
Of course, Hugo is just consolidating his power and making sure that he's a "man of the people" in the eyes of the Venezuelan public. Unfortunately for him, it looks like they can see through the line of bullshit he's selling. I apologize, but I'm just enjoying watching Hugo try to take the "holier then thou" attitude and having it blow up in his face.
