It would certainly be within the realm of possibility. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" type of mentality wouldn't surprise me from the Iranian government. But unfortunately for the Iranians, they are dealing with a dying militant movement and will only put themselves into harms way when they are vanquished. They need to ask themselves "Do I want to be in the cross hairs of America's wrath when the dust settles"? Once Osama, his henchmen, and the Taliban are found, captured or killed, Iran will have a very angry enemy on it's hands.
