I'm all for this idea, but come on, does FedEx really have that big of a threat against their aircraft?? Does Hamas really chant "Death To FedEx", "Long Live UPS"? I'd rather see this on a passenger aircraft, but who knows? Maybe they would like to test it without the human factor in it first, besides the pilots?
This is a very real threat that has already been attempted in the past. It's just good to see progress on countermeasures that may one day save the lives of hundreds of people.
