So our culture is so inclusive that it's actually given jihadists a reason to second guess their choice to go to war with us. Well it does make sense. As soon as people move into my neighborhood (we have many Russian immigrants in my neighborhood), I make sure to say hello and be polite and invite them over for a barbecue or movie night. I do this will all my neighbors.
Now if an jihadist moved into the neighborhood, he might think to himself "this guy is being nice to me and inviting me into his home and having me over for dinner. Maybe American's aren't as nasty as the cleric said they were". We're demonized in the media around the world, but when they get here, they are surprised at how generous and supportive we are to them. Welcome to America, land of "you guys are all right after all".
