Democrats Can't Play Nice.

It seems lately that there's constant talk of back stabbing, cheating, and other shenanigans going on inside the Democratic run for the nomination.

One Clinton staffer managed to call a Obama supporter a "Judas".

Yet, on the Republican side, when Huckabee lost fair and square, there was no upset, no screams of inappropriateness.  Nothing.

Weren't these the same people that claimed all sorts of problems during the 2000 and 2004 Presidential election?

And yet, in 2006, did you hear a peep out of Democrats when they won?  Did they give a crap about "voter suppression" or any of the other things that they claimed in 2000 and 2004?

I remember Democrats talking about the 2006 election as a "win for the people".  So tell me, how is it that Republicans were "cheating" in 2000, and 2004, but all of a sudden, when Democrats win, then everything was "fair" and the "will of the people".  Hypocritical anyone?

If we can learn anything from the recent infighting with Democrats, it's that they cannot be trusted to play fair, play nice, and adhere to the results of the election.

It's almost as if they cannot accept the notion that others don't share their ideas on how to run the country.

Watch them when they get defeated in an election, they scream and want to change the rules of the game i.e: "Let's get rid of the Electoral College".

But when they are winning, they simply chalk it up as a victory and don't care about how they got there.  My previous article on Hillary's views on the Electoral College is a prime example of such behavior.

When Republicans aren't even in the race they can't seem to play nice amongst themselves.

If they can't do that, then they can't be trusted to run the country.  Just look at what they've accomplished in Congress so far.  You have to get along with people that are different then you in many ways.

I thought we'd be in some kind of Utopia this far into Democrats taking over Congress.  Universal Health Care, ridding Congress of the "culture of corruption", the war in Iraq would be over, etc.  So far, the Democratically controlled Congress has accomplished none of those things, and even reversed some of them.  Just take a look at corrupt member of Congress William "$90,000 in my freezer" Jefferson.  He was not only not removed from Congress, he was PROMOTED!
