The time has ended for the latest round of sanctions against Iran. With new ones on the horizon, Iran may have lost itself a powerful ally: Russia. Russia is now more and more on the side of the West in their demands against the Iranian nuclear program. Iran had counted on China and Russia to defend them, but with their idiotic leader spewing off hate against America and Israel, they are painting Russia into a very deep corner.
China's only out for it's own interest and would gladly sell out Iran if it benefited them. They are only against the sanctions because they do not want to anger a major energy supplier for their explosive economy. Once it becomes obvious to even the most idiotic world leader that Iran is after a nuclear weapon with ideas of grandeur, you'll see China come around as well. This time however, I say we go after sanctioning their oil revenue. Sure, it'll drive up the price of gas significantly, however, Iran can't stand to be stubborn about the issue as long as the US can. Bring their economy to it's knees and you'll start seeing real progress on their nuclear program.
