I Almost Had Respect For Hillary Clinton....Almost

Have you ever had an opponent or someone whom you've disagreed with so much that when they show a bit of backbone or you can agree on something, you develop a slight, ever so slight respect for them? I was that way about Hillary Clinton and her stance on the war in Iraq. She has said that she voted for the war, supported the president and his decisions, and stood by what she voted for. Now, she's turned tail and like most other Democrats, now renounces her decision to authorize force against Iraq.

It's one thing to say "I made a mistake and I regret it". It's quite another when you've seen evidence of Saddam being sneaky, hiding things, and firing on our jets patrolling the no fly zone and still wanting to give him a pass. Saddam needed to be removed from power. He was a threat to us and everyone in the region. He's a genocidal dictator who supported terrorist suicide bombers against Israel and who's regime was responsible for thousands of deaths. Saddam even was planning terrorist attacks against the US on it's own soil.

If you want to give a guy like that a pass simply because WMD's have not been found, you don't deserve my respect, even as my opponent.
