Oh. My. God. A public official finally admits when they screwed up and takes the consequences! I'll need to check the temperature in Hell to see what's going on. A former FDA commissioner admits false reporting and conflict of interest charges then, get this, he says "This is my fault, no one else's". This is such a rare thing, the last time I can remember off the top of my head when a public official took blame for something was Janet Reno for the botched raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. Even then, she didn't suffer any consequences, even when it was found out that the FBI lied about using gas canisters against the Davidian's. I'm not saying the Davidian's were correct in that raid, I'm just saying that the FBI shouldn't have lied about it. Such an odd day today.
