Panama To Widen Canal

This can only have good consequences. Panama has approved a $5.25 billion dollar project to widen their famous canal. Even if it does not mean lower prices for the U.S., expanding a trade route can only be good for everyone. Panama will create thousands of jobs for this project, larger and larger ships can now go through the canal, where they once could not, thus saving billions of dollars in transportation costs of goods and services for the world's economy.
