My New Friend

At around the 1 minute mark.

His solution?  Iran becomes the most "unlucky" nation on earth.

Support "tit for tat" strategy.  A bomb goes off against US troops, two go off in Iran.

Take Iranian opposition groups off of the terrorist list.

Can anyone out there tell me what's wrong with this guy's solution?

It retaliates for US troop deaths, let's the Iranians know we're not fucking around, AND let's other nations know it as well.

Personally, if Iran is responsible for one US troop death, I think we should start assassination missions against members of the Iranian military and government.

Even John Bolton agrees:

Colonel Donald Bacon, a spokesman for the coalition in Baghdad, said captured fighters had told interrogators that thousands of Iraqi fighters were undergoing training in the Islamic Republic.

The main camp is located near the town of Jalil Azad, near Tehran, according to coalition officials.

The capture of Qais Khazali, a major figure in the Shia insurgency alongside Ali Mussa Daqduq, a senior Lebanese Hizbollah guerilla, last year yielded a treasure trove of information on Hizbollah’s activities in Iraq.

“Ali Mussa Daqduq confirmed Lebanese Hizbollah were providing training to Iraqi Special Group members in Iran and that his role was to assess the quality of training and make recommendations on how the training could be improved,” said Col Bacon. “In this role, he travelled to Iraq on four occasions and was captured on his fourth trip.”

But here's the real concern:

Taliban cleric Faqir Mohammed is tall, thin, very serious and very religious. His eyes are hard and he speaks slowly. He never smiles.

And when you hear what he has to say, you won’t be smiling either.

"If we get hold of nuclear weapons – which we hope to get very soon – then we will safeguard them until Allah Almighty guides us when and against whom to use them," he told NBC News in an interview at his mountain hideout.

If, and this is a big if, if Iran is indeed working with the Taliban, and the Taliban is asking for nuclear weapons, is it really that big of a stretch to believe that they may sell or give one of these weapons to them?  They have already admitted to supporting Hezbollah, and other terrorist organizations, so why not this one?

Iran surely has to know that if they give a weapon of this caliber to the Taliban that Americans, even the most liberal Democrat, will want Iran completely destroyed if they attack us with a nuclear weapon.

Even low grade nuclear weapons can kill thousands of people.  But unfortunately for Iran, we have submarines literally all over the world carrying nuclear weapons.

But on the flip side, Iran has been known to help us in Afghanistan right after 9/11, so none of this makes sense.
