Senate passes $170 billion stimulus package

We can't afford this.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  However, I HIGHLY suggest you either put it in a savings account or art.baucus.file.gi.jpginvest it.  Personally, I'm going to invest it.  I've got my eye on several stocks that I think might be a decent bargain.  If you really want to stimulate the economy, the best thing you can do is invest the money.

Don't buy a Plasma TV.

Don't buy anything that you don't need.  TV's, jewelry, furniture, they are all luxuries that you simply don't need.

If you are deep in debt, use it to get OUT of debt.  Being debt free is one of the greatest feelings you can have.  You can do literally ANYTHING you want with your paycheck.  If something catastrophic happens, big deal, you can handle it.

Invest it, or use it to get out of debt.  If you buy anything, it'll simply go into the pockets of companies that have probably outsourced jobs to China or India.  Don't support that.
