Monster croc gets snap happy

I always enjoy pointing out idiocy, whether it be in politics or in life in general, and happily, there's no shortage of either:

Novon Mashiah almost became lunch when he took a trip on a river east of Israeli traveller Novon Mashiah 27 was posing for a photo on a dinghy when a 4 metre salt water crocodile leapt out of the water to try and attack him. His friend photographer Doron Aviguy, 22 captured the scene.Darwin, Australia, and a monster saltwater crocodile leaped out of the water after Mr Mashiah pointed at it.

The croc - estimated to be more than 4m long - hit the side of the boat before sinking back into the river.

The fisherman said: "I was shocked, the animal clearly wanted to kill me. One minute I was leaning over the boat teasing it for a picture.

First off, let's notice the town: DARWIN.  I'm sure the evolutionary man would be proud to know his name sake town almost weeded out the weak.

Secondly, let's take a look at what he did "One minute I was leaning over the boat TEASING IT for a picture".

Am I an asshole for rooting for the crocodile?

If you're teasing a 500 pound animal with razor sharp teeth, you simply deserve what you get when the animal has said "That's it, you're lunch".

This is the same thing that Steve Irwin did on his Crocodile Hunter show all the time.  He antagonized animals, and I was very sure that one day an animal would kill him.  A animal did kill him, but he wasn't antagonizing it, which shows you that karma does indeed exist.
