The morning after primary wins in Ohio, Texas, and Rhode Island, Hillary Clinton said she would consider being part of a Democratic “dream ticket” that would include both her and presidential rival Barack Obama.
"That may be where this is headed,” she told the CBS Early Show during a marathon set of appearances on the network morning news shows. “But of course we have to decide who is on the top of ticket. I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me."
She's kidding right? There's so many problems with that, I don't know where to begin. Well, I do, otherwise this would be a short article. :)
First off, Obama isn't going to forget the way she threw him under the bus for a wide variety of things she has said, including how she placed him below John McCain.
She wouldn't be able to answer the question: If Obama isn't experienced enough to be President by your own words, what makes you think that he's experienced to be Vice President?
Many Democratic voters HATE Hillary, so they would have to choose between their previous choice of Obama as VP, or vote Republican. Which is something that the Democratic party can't afford.
The Democratic party is already fractured as it is, to do a "dream ticket" would create further rifts.
Even Obama is saying "nah":
"It is premature to talk about a joint ticket."
