Here's Rudy Giuliani's first TV ad. In it, he mentions a lot of his accomplishments and doesn't mention 9/11 once. I think he's starting to see how people already associate him with the 9/11 attacks, so he's smart in focusing on other areas. Whether or not this is enough to get him elected is debatable, but it's a smart move on his part.
