Hillary's Questionable Donors

Three recipients of controversial 11th-hour pardons issued by former President Bill Clinton in January 2001 have donated thousands of dollars to the presidential campaign of his wife, Democratic front-runner Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., according to campaign finance records examined by ABC News, in what some good government groups said created an appearance of impropriety.

"It's not illegal," Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, told ABC News. "But, of course, it's inappropriate and she should return the money. It does raise the appearance that this is payback.

Sure, it might not be illegal, but let's face it, it certainly appears like it's payback.  And what's with the Clinton's and government workers who "mishandle" government secrets?

John Deutch is a different case, having served as President Clinton's CIA director.

Pardoned by President Clinton for charges he had mishandled government secrets.

Him and Sandy Berger both were "mishandling" government secrets, yet neither served any real jail time for it.

It'll also be difficult for Hillary to pay for Universal Health Care when her husband loved to pardon tax cheats like Marc Rich.  Two peas in a pod is my guess.

So tell me, why isn't this story on the front page of every newspaper in the country?  Hillary has had more shady campaign finance problems then any other candidate combined, yet she seems to get a pass.

If Republican candidates were smart, they would be bringing this up in upcoming debates.
