A Palestinian official said Sunday that Israel's plan to expand settlements in the West Bank was "like putting a stick in the wheels of the peace process."
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert approved the construction of 330 housing units in Givat Zeev, near Jerusalem. Olmert spokesman Mark Regev said the decision was initially made nine years ago, and approved Sunday "for economic reasons that have to do with the developers."
"They wanted to complete the project now, and they are to go ahead," Regev said, referring to the developers.
Umm...Fellas, if you want to see what "putting a stick in the wheels of the peace process" REALLY is, how about your celebrations of an attack on a school that killed innocent students?
Do you lie awake at night and wonder why you don't have your own state? Do you wonder why Israel "attacks" you? It's when you elected terrorist organizations as your government and celebrate attacks on innocent people.
What's worse for you, is that this isn't some new thing. We ALL remember when you celebrated the 9/11 attacks.
That video alone is enough for me to deny your statehood until the next generation of Palestinians who grow up and perhaps, learn that firing rockets randomly into Israel is a bad thing. You're awfully lucky that Israel has been as lenient as they have been. If I were in charge, I'd order targeted assassinations of everyone associated with Hamas, and I do mean EVERYONE. You'd learn very quickly that your actions of electing Hamas shows your true character and I wouldn't give you the time of day for the peace process or your own state.
Then, once you've learned that lesson, and you truly want peace, then we can sit down and talk. Until then, Hamas members and anyone associated with them, will keep dropping like flies.

The people of the jewish religion see nothing wrong with murdering women and childern in their quest to steal everything the Palestinians own. When 1 person of the jewish faith dies they all whine and cry but have no problem kill hundreds of Palestinians women and children die! Jewish is a religion and that is all it is therefore the people of the jewish faith have no right to a country! They are stealing land that belongs to someone else and use a book they wrote to justify it! The jewish religion seems to be one hateful and racist religion! The people of Israel do not want peace they want all the land!
Ok, let's take your argument that Jews love to kill women and children. Let's just say for the sake of argument that's entirely true. Do you think that celebrating the 9/11 attacks and firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel is the morally right thing to do?
Do you think that firing rockets into civilian areas and killing innocent people isn't "murderous"?
I have never said that the Israeli's are without their own wrongs, however, you can't expect the United States to support a peace plan with you if you're celebrating mass murder, voting in terrorist organizations as your government, and staging "massacres" that never happened.
