Wow, people are REALLY reaching for something if this is the best that they can do:
"I mean, it’s well known. Everybody knows. It’s been well chronicled a thousand times. John Kerry asked if I would consider being his running mate."
The reporter clearly asked questions about a private conversation that McCain had and he wasn't willing to discuss it. He said it over and over again he wouldn't discuss it, but she apparently can't hear or is too stupid to take "no" for an answer.
On top of that, she asks "why are you so angry", when clearly he isn't.
If that's the best the press can do to get some dirt or create controversy for McCain, then they have some serious issues to face.
