China Lied

I told you they'd have a problem on their hands when the bodies started showing up.

Now, China has been forced to admit that they've killed protesters and it was in "self-defense".

Chinese state media has admitted police shot dead four rioters "in self-defense" in a Tibetan area of southwestern Sichuan province.

Government authorities have geared up suppression of Tibetan anti-government protesters, sending more troops into restive areas and making more arrests in Lhasa.

Just yesterday China said this:

Tibetan exile groups maintain at least 80 people were killed by Chinese security forces that day, but Chinese authorities insist they acted with restraint and killed no one.

Funny that the Tibetans haven't changed their story about 80 dead, yet China has.  Hmm, wonder who's lying here?  Look for this summer's Olympic games to be quite eventful.

What do you expect? Han Chinese, Muslim Hui Chinese and even Tibetian civilians (because they are working in Han or Hui business) were beaten or burned to death, It was the time for the government to react!

I don't know why you have such a double standard, there is only one way to explain, you are BRAINWASHED!

So, 80 dead is ok with you then? I certainly have no double standard when it comes to this, I am merely pointing out that China lied when they said they hadn't killed anyone, now they are forced to admit the deaths of dozens of people.

Doesn't make them look good in the public eye.

Besides, how many of the 1992 LA riot deaths were the result of US troops firing upon rioters? Most, if not all the deaths were between civilians.

80 dead, what is your information source? the so called exile government of Tibet?

I never said the Chinese government is good. As a Chinese, I am dissatisfied with CCP in many aspect. However, at the point of a violent riot, action is definitely justified and necessary, no matter in Paris, Los Angeles, or New Orleans. And please
look careful, the dead people in Lhasa are not rioters, but peaceful
civilians killed by rioters!

As for LA riot, see this
http://www.lafire.com/famous_fires/920429_LA-Riots/LAWEEKLY-2002-0426/2002-0426_laweekly_TheLA53_Crogan.htm
many of them were shot by police or national guards, or dead in the chase.

Well CNN was my source for the 80 dead comment, and they probably got that source from the Tibetans. However, China initially said they had killed no one, now they are saying that they did.

If you tell me one story, then tell me another, different story, it tends to make me think you are lying to me.

Plus, China has one of the most advanced economies in the world, why are they not using less than lethal weapons against these people like the US and other countries are doing? (Tasers, water cannons, tear gas, etc.)

Yes, if you have a violent mob and they are trying to kill or seriously injure someone, sometimes you have to shoot that person, but 80 dead seems like an awful lot to me.

If China has nothing to hide, why are they cracking down on video sites such as Youtube?

My bet is that they are worried that they will be shown in a negative light and they don't want the world to see such things with the upcoming Olympic games.

Yes, some of the people killed in the LA riots were done in by police, but that was 8 people out of 60 were as a result of police force. 8 too many I agree, but I would be very curious to see any video of the deaths of these 80 people, if indeed that is a true number.

As a side note, are you in China? I'd be very curious if you were because China bans my site with their policies.
