With Christmas coming up, I thought I would give you all holiday tips for that perfect present for me or that special guy in your life. Samsung has developed and will be selling a $200,000 machine gun sentry robot. I'd like one, and I'll bet that special guy in your life would want one too. If he doesn't, check for a pulse because he's probably a zombie or something.

NY Times Admits Saddam Close To Nuke In 2002

Take a gander at this article. Most importantly, read the last paragraph on the first page. "Among the dozens of documents in English were Iraqi reports written in the 1990s and in 2002 for United Nations inspectors in charge of making sure Iraq had abandoned its unconventional arms programs after the Persian Gulf war. Experts say that at the time, Mr. Hussein’s scientists were on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away."

So in 2002 UN inspectors and other experts said that Saddam's scientists were ON THE VERGE of building a nuclear weapon. Hmmm....Sounds like a WMD to me and Saddam was known to fund suicide bombers and constantly fired missiles at our jets patrolling the No Fly Zone established after the first Gulf War. Does anyone else need any further proof that Saddam was a threat to the US??

What's odd is that this article is on the front page of the NY Times' website. Wouldn't this theoretically help the Bush Administration with doubters about the existence of WMD's and the threat that Saddam posed?

The problem that we have now with people who say "there were no weapons" is that they expected us to go in, kick open a door of a random warehouse, and find it filled to the rafters with missiles filled with Sarin and VX gas, Nuclear bombs lying around, and other such things.

Do you think Saddam would want this? Do you think he would just let it sit there and let the world see that "The USA was right"? Saddam is very worried about his legacy and to be shown a liar and a brutal dictator makes his legacy worthless. He sees himself as "The Liberator of Iraq" But soon enough, if found guilty and sentenced to death, he won't live to see Christmas. Iraqi law states if you're sentenced to death, it must be carried out within 30 days.

Timeline in Iraq = "Cut And Run"

Man, John Kerry just can't seem to pick a side and stick with it. :) Apparantly, in 2003, he was quoted with saying a timeline for pulling out of Iraq would be "cutting and running". Does he not understand that American's can think for themselves and have the ability to see what was said at what time? I guess not. :)

Mark my words, if Democrats win either the House or the Senate or both and they force us to leave Iraq, terrorists like these will feel like they can continue to bomb nightclubs, restaurants, and such and get away with it. Innocent men, women, and children will die and it will be no one's fault but the Democrats and the terrorists that they are too cowardly to stand up to.

One of these two are probably going to be up for the presidency in 2008. Now, who do you suppose we should choose on our end? There's a long list of people, but I think we should take a hard look at my list on why John Kerry lost in 2004 and make sure that our candidate doesn't have the same flaws or make the same mistakes that Kerry did.

Russia And China Won't Back Sanctions On Iran

Why does this surprise anyone? Everyone knows that Russia and China need Iranian oil to help further their economies and they don't want to rock the boat. Unfortunately for Russia and China, the Israelis won't stand for a nuclear Iran. If Israel or the US does indeed do a military strike, oil prices will skyrocket, costing Russia and China more money. It's best to nip this situation in the butt while it's still in it's infancy rather then letting it spiral out of control. Only time will tell.

Some Car Buyers Took Stupid Pills

So gas goes down to $2.25 and all of a sudden a huge spike in SUV sales??? Wow, some people really are stupid. What's even worse is that people think "$2.25 isn't too bad, it could be $3.00" when a little more then a year ago it was $1.85. So oil companies are still hitting you with an additional 40 cents per gallon and no one seems to mind. This is why I loved my little Honda Insight I had. I got upwards of 125 mpg on flat open roads and 55 mpg going up and down hills. Now that I think about it, I should see if I can find me another one of those little guys. The only problem is that they aren't good cars if you want to have things like dignity and picking up girls. :)
